At the 2010 Geneva show, Proton showcased its Emas City Concept car with the help of ItalDesign Giugiaro (for its sharp design) and Lotus in developing the Lotus Range Extender hybrid power train propelling the Emas. Lotus also got involved in the chassis development, a traditional core practice for the makers of the Elise and Exige.

Will we see this car in Malaysia in the near future? No official confirmation has been made yet but we believe there should be some plans to further develop from this platform at least after putting in so much effort (and money into this car).
